LESSONS AND CONSULTATIONS

My work as a multi-genre virtuosic singer with bel canto training and a background in speech level singing and avant garde music gives me a unique perspective founded on the principle of using classical technique to reach the voice’s fullest potential in any style. I have experience working with both opera singers and musical theatre singers. Beginners welcome, trans and non-binary friendly.

I also offer private consultations for composers looking to take their vocal writing to the next level. With over a decade of experience working in development and performance of new opera, I can help you make your vocal writing as singer-friendly as possible.

I have additional educational material available for organizations and institutions. I am available for master classes and have a fifty-minute presentation on the principles of self-production.

ENGRAVING AND EDITING

As a producer and a composer, I’ve had to learn how to make music that looks great and is easy to read. My engraving practice is rooted in making sure that the modern musician can pick up and play the piece, taking one more element of uncertainty out of your gig.

Services include digitally engraving manuscripts, making piano reductions of orchestral scores, transposition of existing works, and transcription of audio files. I work in Dorico and can import files from Finale or Sibelius.
